- Sacred Woman-Queen Afua
- Homemade Love-J.California Cooper
- Their Eyes Were Watching God- Zora Neale Hurston
- The Bluest Eye- Toni Morrison
Why I choose these books...because the characters are so amazing and the storylines are so thought-provoking in each book. I gained something when I read each of those books. I love when books can do that especially when the book is fictional.-:) I choose one non-fiction book because it has a wealth of information in it. The ever threw me off because I am sure by next week or next month this list could easily change. But this is the list today!-:)
