I went to the library a few days ago to go get some books that were on hold for me. The library has always been such a special place for me from the first time my mother took me and my sister to the library when I was a little girl. There is so much infomation in the library. So many free books to escape and go to a different place each time you open up a book there. I collect books but I still need to be able to go to the library and roam/walk around in search for a book on the shelves and discover new titles and new authors. I like seeing people like me that love the library as much as do. I love seeing people with their heads in a book and searching for a particular one and then going to go check it out. Sometimes I wonder which ones he or she got....
These are the books I checked out...
Poems Of Phillis Wheatley
The Complete Poems of Paul Laurence Dunbar
The Sport of The Gods by Paul Laurence Dunbar
Woodson: The Education Of The Negro Prior To 1861 by Carter G Woodson

The Woodson title looks very interesting. I'll have to add it to the library. I read Sport of the Gods and enjoyed it.
I am really looking forward to reading Sport of the Gods. My library is having a Paul Laurence night in Febrary. I have already made plans to go.:)
